My beautiful mom, born and raised in Chino, CA., called herself a California girl. She married in her 20's, and moved with my dad to Santa Clara, CA., had me, and when I was 4 years old my dad moved us to Tucson, AZ.
Mom started her career in Tucson as a Legal Secretary to the most prominent lawyers in town. She built her resume, and worked for 15 years.
When she was divorced, and I had completed High School, we both agreed to move back to CA. My mom pursued her career as administrative secretary at Cal Poly Pomona College, she bought her home and continued her passion for traveling. She was an avid reader and if she read about a place of interest she would travel there.
Mom ended her career as secretary for the state of CA, Worker's compensation Judges, only to retire and take care of her beloved Grandson.
My mom had a fulfilling and independent life. She was our biggest cheerleader, encouraging myself and my son to further our education, work hard and depend on no one. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, grandson, great grandbaby, brother, and Joey.
