Robert Gomez

Robert Gomez, 57, of Rialto, California, passed away on April 20, 2017 at St. Bernadine Medical Center in San Bernardino. He was born August 3, 1959 in Upland, California and was a Rialto resident for the last 3 years. Robert lived in El Monte, California for 7 years prior to moving to Rialto. He received a Welding Certification and worked as a mobile welding contractor. Years later, Robert received building, mechanical, residential, commercial and electrical certifications for his inspector’s license and worked for the Los Angeles County as a Building Inspector for 7 years. Robert was a member of Rios de Agua Vida in Pomona. He loved reading and talking about the Word of God. Robert also loved fishing, the outdoors, his country, his beautiful family. Robert is survived by his loving wife Rosa Maria Contreras; his children Marlina Krause, Nathan Gomez; step-children Sergio, Crystal, Vanessa, Giovanni and Luigi. He is also survived by his parents Frances Gomez; grandchildren Vanessa, Jessica, David, Isaac, Reniah, Noah, Raliah, Audrena, Rebekkah, Jonathan, Makayla, Isabella and Josiah. Robert is preceded in death by his daughter Rosalie Gomez. Visitation hours will be 5 to 10 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Funeraria del Angel Chino. The funeral services will be Wednesday , April 26, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Iglesia Rios de Agua Viva in Pomona. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario.
