Esperanza Campos, age 89, a beloved mother, of Chino, California, sadly left our world on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Esperanza was born June 26, 1935 in San Juan De Los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico to Desideria Padilla Campos and Constantino Campos.
A devout catholic, Esperanza’s faith guided her through life with a strong work ethic, resilience, and always placing family first.
Esperanza was an exceptional mother, always caring and supporting her children and a beloved grandmother. She worked as a meat cutter at Chino Ranch Market and a playground supervisor at Mountain View Elementary School. Her selflessness and devotion to family is visible in her legacy of 11 children, 31 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents Desideria Padilla Campos and Constantino Campos and siblings Jela, Juana, Leonarda, Salvador, Marin, Antonio, and Cleofas She is survived by her brother Silvano, 8 sons, Gabriel Campos, Ramiro (Sally) Campos, Fidencio Campos, Hector Campos, Sergio (Olga) Campos, Miguel (Jennifer) Campos, Fernando Campos, Jose (Ana) Campos, and 3 daughters, Maria Campos, Lupe (Edy) Lopez, Rebecca (John) Moreno, 31 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Esperanza’s memory will be a guiding star for all who knew her.
A Visitation Service for Esperanza will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, 13002 S. Central Ave, Chino, California 91710. A Rosary Service will occur Monday, July 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM, 13002 S. Central Ave, Chino, California 91710. A Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5048 D St, Chino, California 91710. A Committal Service will occur Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 444 E. Lexington Ave, Pomona, California 91766.
Serving as pallbearers are Rick Campos, Ramiro Campos, Jr., John Moreno, Jr. , Hector Campos, Jr., Sergio Campos, Jr., Alex Hernandez, Ruben Campos, Ryan Campos and Jared Campos.
