Susan Carol Heglar Nicholson, age 65 of Mooresville passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at her residence. Born on November 2, 1957 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Fred Heglar and Thelma Jean Hall Heglar. Mrs. Nicholson was a graduate of South Rowan High School. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother Steve Heglar. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Eric Nicholson, daughter Melissa Smith and son Jeremy Reed Sloop. Also surviving her are her grandchildren; Pacey Smith and Makina Smith as well as great granddaughter Maylee Jenkins.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
