Shirley Corriher

Mrs. Shirley Ruth Freeze Corriher, 73 of China Grove, passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born on July 21, 1942 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Baxter and Pauline Honbarger Freeze. Mrs. Corriher graduated from Landis High School and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She worked for Noah's 5 and 10 for over twenty years. She loved to read, do needle point, quilting and canning vegetables. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Leonard Corriher, sons Timothy Baxter Corriher (Debra) of Salisbury and Steven Clyde Corriher of China Grove, and daughter Kimberly Corriher Karriker (Brian) of Mooresville. She is also survived by her sister Carolyn Schenck of China Grove and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 til 3:00 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with funeral at 3:00 also at the church with Rev. Charles Gibbons, minster. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.linnhoneycuttfuneralhome.com.
