Born in Jellico, Tennessee on March 20, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Norma Canada.
Peggy worked in textiles as a line closer and was an avid gardener. To say Peggy had a green thumb would underestimate her ability to grow anything she planted, from flowers to vegetables and in-between.
For twenty-six years, she has shared her life with her husband, James Dennis Hartley, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her stepchildren, Michael Hartley, Jeffrey Hartley and Heather Hartley; and step-grandchildren, Ethan Emily and Evan Hartley.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
A memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM in the Northcrest chapel of the funeral home with Col. Tommy Steele officiating.
Words of comfort may be shared at www.linn-honeycutt.com.
Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hartley family.
