Mrs. Nonie Elizabeth Cline Link, age 70 of China Grove, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Born August 18, 1950 in Germany, Nonie was the daughter of the late Lonnie Cline, Sr. and Jennie Cline. In addition to her parents, her brother, Lonnie Cline, Jr. also preceded her in death.
Nonie was a member of Faith Baptist Church and spent her career working production in cotton textiles. She spent her time caring for her family. She love crafting and had a special talent for making dolls out of beads. When each of her family members married, she took special care to make them a Bridal Doll out of beads, a treasure for each of them. She also loved music, especially listening to the “old” country music.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, George Link of the home; son, George P. Link, grandson, Michael Link, her brother, Mark Cline and his wife, Barbara of Maiden; her sisters, Ruby Poplin and her husband, David of New London and Cindy Marze and her husband, Doug of Salisbury. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation for Nonie will be on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00am at Faith Baptist Church, 904 Chipola Street, Kannapolis, NC. Burial will immediately follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
