To the family of Linda Flounders Bell I give my deepest condolences.  I met Linda and Charlie in the late 1970's when they were moving to Salisbury, NC and I became their real estate agent.  I met Charlie first and then when I met Linda and little Christy we clicked right away and in the house hunting process we became the best of friends. With her fierce loyalty and caring spirit Linda may well have been one of my best friends ever.  She was so kind and yet fiesty at times, too, with a great personality and tons of fun.  Linda was intelligent, well read and supremely eloquent.  We could talk for hours and at one time became business partners, founding a singing telegram business - "Merry Messages". The fun we had with that and we even received front page newspaper recognition for it!  Between us we stacked up a ton of memories and we became like sisters.  Following a divorce I moved back to Florida to be close to my parents and with the long distance Linda and I were challenged with keeping up the closeness we had shared.  (We couldn't afford the long distance bills as we could talk for an hour or more!)  When I would visit Salisbury we would always get together though.  How I cherish all the memories we made.  Linda is even responsible for having connected me with her sister Debbie who sponsored me into Mary Kay which turned out to become a 40+ year and still going career!  Linda is one special lady and will always remain in my heart. She loved her Lord and no doubt she is restored with perfect health in the Kingdom!  No more suffering.  God bless you, my forever friend!  May God bless and comfort her loving family as they go through this tremendous loss.

I met Linda in January 1996, when I moved back to NC and started working at Lutheran Family Services in Lexington, NC. I met her as a stranger, but we quickly became great friends. Linda was one of the kindest, sweetest people I've met, she always made me see the brighter sides of things no matter how bad I thought they were. When I had my son Miles, I could think of nobody else to be his Godmother but Linda. Over the years: because of life, family and distance, we weren't as close as we used to be but every now that we'd have that one phone call and catch up and have great conversations.  It was a pleasure knowing and having her in our lives. To Christy, she loved you and her grandchildren so very much. To the rest of the family, my deepest condolences on the loss of a loving, sweet and kind person. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
