Kenneth Marion Shoemake, 93, of Kannapolis went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2024. He was the son of the late George and Bessie Shoemake.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Shoemake was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Graham Shoemake; daughter Karen Shoemake Sechler; and son Phillip Marion Shoemake.
Kenneth was a hard worker who worked jobs which include being a tenant farmer in South Carolina, working in Cannon Mills of Kannapolis, and greeting customers at Walmart for 20 years. He was a faithful member of Landis Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his Grandson Phillip Scott Sechler; Granddaughter Amy Sechler; and 3 great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Shoemake Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00. This graveside will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Rev. Mike Austin will be Officiating the service.
