Helen Mabry Beaver

CHINA GROVE: Helen Jeanette Mabry Beaver went home to be with her Lord Sunday November 24, 2013. Born April 13, 1929 in Rowan County , she was the daughter of J. Cleon and Belle Crayton Mabry. Attended China Grove High School. Helen was a homemaker played the piano by ear and sang and intertained at nursing homes in the area along with the VA Hospital. She was a social reporter for the South Rowan Times news paper in China Grove. A member of South China Grove Baptist Church.

Preceeded in death by her husband the late John Oscar Beaver who died December 20, 1996, and one sister and five brothers.

Survivors include a son Keith Beaver and wife Renee Overcash Beaver of China Grove. Three grandchildren Derrick John Beaver and companion Ashley Hill of China Grove, Devin Keith Beaver and wife Brittany of China Grove and Dr. Andrea Elizabeth Beaver of Cincinnati Ohio. 4 Great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 2:00 pm at the South China Grove Baptist Church with the Reverand Tony Wagoner offeciating. Visitation will be Tuesday night at the Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove from 6-8:00 pm.
