A Time to Be Born:
Danny Stewart Brown was born September 11, 1955 in North Wilkesboro. He was one of 21 siblings.
A Time to Live:
He attended A.L Brown High School. Danny found great joy when he was working in the yard, working on house projects, or watching westerns. He loved any day spent watching Nascar, the UNC Tar Heels, Washington Redskins, or any other good sporting event he could find.
A Time to Love:
Danny met and married the love of his life, Kathy, on October 21, 1972. Together they built a life, working hard to provide for their family and many others. They could often be found shopping at Antique stores, hosting cook-outs for friends and family, remodeling spaces, or working in the yard.
A Time to Serve:
Danny completed Dale Carnegie training and worked as a Supervisor for Coca-Cola. He completed his years of work and retired from Hoechst Celanese in Cleveland, NC. He was a member of Universal Baptist Church in Kannapolis, where he served as a deacon, preached several sermons, and helped maintain the church building.
A Time to Die:
Danny entered into the presence of God on Friday, May 6th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Novella Brown, siblings Carol Smith, Vernelle Church, Roger Wagoner, Reba Deadmon, Linda Brown, Jimmy Brown, Kay Greene, Robert Wagoner, Randy Wagoner, Wanda Philbeck, and Ricky Wagoner. In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by his children, Danny Jr. (Sheri) of Archdale, Karen (Amy) of Clemmons, and one grandson, Daniel Brown. He is also survived by his siblings Rebecca Blevins (Dewey), Fred Wagoner, Jeanne Shumate, Sue Absher, Shirley B. Osborne (Robby), Marlene Testerman (Jerry), Ray Greene, Sandra Stewart, and James Brown.
Visitation and Service:
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home Northcrest Chapel, 1420 N. Main St., China Grove, NC.
