Wayne spent time in Military service before moving to Prince George to work at the Pulp and Paper Mill for many years. He lived a short time in Kamloops before moving to Chilliwack in 1995. Wayne will be remembered for his giving spirit, he volunteered with Hope Community Services and the Salvation Army for many years and will be missed for his great sense of humour and his passion for fishing.
Wayne will be sadly missed by Tina Harder, his daughters, Danielle and Amber; grandchildren, Zachary, Adrianna, Kalis, Bentley and Bella; brothers Dick (Marnie) Huber and Glen Huber; sisters Dorothy Huber and Heather (Larry) Kuppy as well as many other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Carol.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack, BC; Pastor Vern Tompke officiating .
