RONALD JOSEPH GORDON STACEY

February 3, 1939 – November 21, 2011

Ron passed suddenly and unexpectedly in his home last week. He is survived by his 3 children, Carrie, Jeanine and Andrew, their spouses Grant, Steve, and Joanne and their children Eric, Nicole, Kyle, Raymond, Cody, and Bailee, and many many loving friends and acquaintances.

Ron led a full life and was known for his skill at all things handyman, a deep passion for gardening, and could seemingly build, grow or fix anything. He enjoyed visiting the USA, taking driving trips, golfing as much as he could, and gardening. He was an active volunteer at the Chilliwack Seniors Center and was always there to help his kids and friends whenever they needed a hand.

He graduated from Burnaby South High School class of ‘57, and VVI class of ’60. He spent his career at BC Tel and retired as an Engineering Department Supervisor where he was well liked by his many colleagues.

Ron was a spiritual man who enjoyed the church community at the Unity Church in Bellingham and enjoyed studying the eastern religions, metaphysics, and astrology.

As per his wishes the body will be cremated as the spirit has moved on. Please join us for a celebration of life service at Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC on Sunday December 4, 2011 at 3pm.
