With sadness, we announce that Bob Henderson has passed away in Chilliwack.
Dad lived a full and happy life. He was born in Chilliwack and spent his childhood between here and Abbotsford, making many lifelong friends in both cities.
He was an athlete when younger and always an avid sports fan. Bob supported his community, belonging to Kinsmen, K40, BC and Canadian Funeral Directors Assoc., Chwk Curling Club, member of Chwk United Church, Chwk Civic Properties, and he was a School Board Trustee.
He and Vella raised their four daughters in Chilliwack, providing an idyllic childhood. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Cherishing his memory, Daughters: Cheryl (John), Kathy (Gord), Janice (Roy), Lesli (John); Grand daughters: Kristy (Shawn), Heather (Trent), Andrea (Ken), Jillian (Pete), Shannon (Will), Maeghan (Steve), Katelynn (Ryan), Kelsi (Jordan), Haili (Jean-Guy); Great grandsons: Henderson, Maverick, Dominick, Cruz, Oliver, Beau; Sisters: Donna (Jack d.), Carole (John); extended family. He was predeceased by his adored Vella.
