Lee Nelson Dillabaugh Wagner

March 15, 1988 - March 16, 2025

Lee passed on peacefully while his Mom, Brother and Sister-in-law held his hands, sang to him, played music and reminded him how very, very much he was loved.

Although losing Lee was devastating to his family and many, many friends left behind, we are strengthened by the knowledge that he has joined his Dad Rory and many family members and friends in Heaven. We know that Trin is at his side again (“Baby Girl”).

Lee had a razor sharp, rapid-fire wit. Sometimes his mom’s mouth would drop in disbelief and/or pride at some of his remarks.

Lee’s love and generosity for those around him was limitless. In the months before illness took his life, he found deep love with Alicia and her sons Roman and Myles. We thank them for this.

Lee felt privileged to be a Father to Landon Smith for many years and loved him very much.

His work niche was Tycrop. There he found family – in particular

“Auntie” Rhonda and Bran. He was strongly supported by Jason, Sean, “Brucie” and so many other valued workmates.

His favourite place of refuge, retreat, and unconditional love was Yarrow Flats (YFPA). We thank Eldest son Alex, Kent (Papa Giles) and dear Cathy for providing this haven to Lee.

Predeceased by his Father (Rory Nelson Wagner), Grandfather (Vernon Wesley Dillabaugh), Grandparents Lester and Hazel Smith, and many Aunts, Uncles and Friends.

Survived by his Mom Jen (Hans and Gonzo) Brother Devon (Jessie), Grandparents Edward and Lena Szmadyla. Beloved tribe members Kent, Cathy and Alex Giles, Arthur and Lois Loewen, and Grannie Donna Perry.
