It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Herman Henry John Muller in Chilliwack on October 16, 2013.
Born in Edmonton in 1935, Harry, as he preferred to be called, moved to Vancouver with his family in 1946. Graduating from trade school as a mechanic, Harry was a proud member of the “Igniters Hot Rod Club”. Later, with friend and business partner Erv, Harry owned and very successfully operated Van Burn Collision on Dawson St. in Burnaby for over 30 years. Harry then retired to Chilliwack with Barbara (nee Buzza), his loving wife of 54 years. Predeceased by his brother Bob, sister Bernice (Cliff) and sister in law Dolly (Fred); Harry is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Ken (Shirley), Larry (Cisca), Russ (Dawn) and sisters Joyce (Jim) and Edna (Art); children, Steve (Sandy), Tracy (Dan) and Brad and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Scott and Doug, to whom he will always be “Boompa!” Harry’s ready smile and calm demeanour will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Harry would have preferred that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. There will be a private family only service.
