DANIEL ANTHONY WAKEFIELD 
NOVEMBER 6, 1979 - AUGUST 14, 2023




Dear God,

As our Daniel is returned to this Earth let us pray that he be gently guided back home to a place of beauty, a place of rest. Let him know the love that is all around him, that he will be in our hearts forever. 

And, let us pray for his mother Karen, his sister Caralee Rose, and his wife Sherri, and all who knew and loved him that our pain be lessened day by day, and that we someday find some comfort and peace in this tragedy. 

Finally God remind us all to step out beyond ourselves to help others in deep need and suffering, to love our neighbor as ourselves, to be a light in the darkness. 

Amen


My condolences to Dan's (Reds) family! I just recently met through work and spent a week with him on the Sunshine Coast. Heard alot of his stories in that time. Rest in paradise Red! 

Sherri, Caralee, and Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure to  work closely on a day to day basis with Dan, who became not only a valued co-worker but my friend. 

Dan’s  voice and charisma were contagious and brightened my day!!  Dan often would tell me stories about Sherri and Caralee, and it was evident how much he loved you  both 

There are no words that can take away the pain and loss you are feeling, but know that Dan was truly loved!  He was a wonderful teacher of new, young roofers, with such patience and kindness
.
Dan left this world a better place, he will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.





I'm so grateful that I was able to witness this wonderful, happy day. Pretty sure this was Dan's happiest day ever. This memory will stay in a special place in my heart.



Very sorry for your loss.Dan touched so many lives,he will be missed by many.
He often talked about Caralee,"Rosie'.He loved you so much and was so proud being your big brother.You and your mom meant the world to him.
Know he will always be with you,watching over you and giving you strength to get through this.
I had the pleasure of being part of his life the past 12 years,and i cherised the time we had together ,its never easy to say goodbye  but i hope you find comfort in knowing he was very loved and he loved you just as much,if not more.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the Wakefield family and friends affected by this tragic loss.
