Following the service interment will be held at Chilliwack Cemeteries at 2:30pm. Alice immigrated to Canada with her family when she was six years old. She was the youngest of 11 children. At the age of 24 she met George and they were married within a year. They were blessed with four children. Alice lived a simple life and preferred to be in the background, though her time as church custodian and bus driver helped change that. She is remembered for her ever ready smile and her kindness. Alice was diagnosed with cancer approximately 20 years ago which eventually metastasized. These last years were challenging for her, but God used this time in her life to refine her spiritually and make her rely on Him for all things. Throughout her cancer journey she displayed a quiet patience and grace and rarely complained about her discomforts. She will be greatly missed by her family.
