Danny Wayne Bishop

Danny was born on October 1, 1952 to Herman B. and Edith (Keyes) Bishop. He married Maria Jose Palm on December 23, 1972 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife, Maria, of Chillicothe; his children, Adrian Bishop of Chillicothe, IL and Jacqueline Bishop of Peoria, IL; one granddaughter, Victoria Cochran of New Mexico; and two sisters, Gwenda (Mark) Cherry of Minnesota and Sandra (Frank) Crew of Henry, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny was a truck and delivery driver.

He loved and took care of his family. He never knew a stranger. He was generous and had a helping hand for anyone. He enjoyed war history, spending time at gun ranges, anything that had zombies and making terribly corny jokes. He loved animals, especially his beloved dog Kobe.

Cremation rites will be accorded through Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel in Chillicothe with a celebration of life service held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 1pm to 5pm at Pierce Community Center in Chillicothe.
