Lucille G. Parker

Funeral service for Lucille G. Parker, age 91, of Childersburg will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Dr. John Beck and Reverend Ralph Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery. Mrs. Parker entered her heavenly home on August 17, 2010 at Shelby Ridge Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: A.C. Parker, sons: Jimmy and Jackie Parker and daughter: Mary Alice Parker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Childersburg and loved gardening, sewing and her grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the employees of Shelby Ridge Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice. She is survived by her Son: Joe Joe Parker (Charline) of Childersburg, 3 Daughters: Becky Bradford of Birmingham, Wanda Parker of Atlanta, GA, Sarah Cooner (Joe) of Smith Station, Brother: Buddy Green (Mary Jo) of Gardendale, Sister: Sally Green Cowart (Robert) of Childersburg, 2 Daughter-in-laws: Debbie Parker and Jean Parker, 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson due in August and

numerous nieces and Nephews and a host of friends. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
