Funeral service for Lonnie Thomas Lightsey Sr., age 85, of Bon Air will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11AM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Reverend Edward Green, Reverend Mark Deason and Reverend John Lightsey officiating. Visitation will be on Monday May 30, 2011 from 5:30-8PM at the Childersburg Chapel. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery. Special thanks to our new family at New Beacon Hospice, Mt. View Baptist Church, Bon Air Baptist Church and Estelle Community Church, and very special thanks to our Aunt Juanita who was always there for Popa after memaw went to be with the Lord. He is survived by his Sons: Lonnie Thomas Lightsey Jr. of Greenville, MS, Marcus Dyer Lightsey and wife Sissy of Bon Air, John Edger Lightsey and wife Marsha of Belle Vista, AR, Sisters: Virginia Marlowe and husband Wayne of Childersburg, Evalena McLeod and husband Jess of Spanish Fort, AL, 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
