Joseph Nelson Lett Sr.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Betty Lett; his daughter Angela Lett Guy; his brother Dallas Lett; his grandchildren Heather Smith, Hannah Allegro, Kyle Edwards, Hillary Rogers, Rachel Lett, and Tara Mitchell; his great grandchildren Dawson Hamilton, Joseph Smith, Cecilia Smith, Levi Smith, Titus Smith, Mason Rogers, Kip Rogers, Isaiah Osbourn, Easton Hamilton, Greyson Isenhour, and Hunter Isenhour, his special niece Jessica Coleman (Josh) and her son Trey.

Joseph was preceded in death by his son Joseph "Joey" Lett Jr.; his father Henry Lett and his mother Mamie Jane Lett; his brothers William "Bill" Lett and Phillip "Phil" Lett; his sisters Elenor Owen, Evelyn Ruth Smith and Maxine Simmons.

Funeral service for Joseph will be Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at The Sanctuary of Sylacauga with Rev. Freddie Edwards officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Sunday. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Joseph will be laid to rest in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Lett, Curtis Taylor, Michael Mask, Craig Gravette, Roger Lett and Jim Veazey.
