Born in India, Vasu earned a degree in Hydraulics and Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur. He earned two Masters degrees, first from Chicago’s Illinois Institute of Technology and then in Industrial Engineering from Ohio University in Athens. Vasu enjoyed a long career as a Design Engineer for the Chicago Park District.
