While I never worked for EPA, I worked with Rita for many years. She was an enthusiastic Cavs fan and always gave 110% to her work, and I will certainly miss her.  My condolences to her family.

God Bless her and her family.  She will be in our prayers. I remember Rita from grade school.  A very nice girl who treated all with kindness.

Steve, Stephen and Andrew, we are so sorry to hear of your loss.  Rita, Carol and I grew up in the same neighborhood and I surely will remember all the good times growing up with The Cestaric clan, we always managed to have fun.  This tells us how short and precious time is for us all and that we must learn to appreciate each day to the fullest.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Rita was a warm person and a great listener.  She will be missed.  My condolences to her family.

Rita left this earth much too soon  but during the time she was here, she helped to make the earth a better place. She will be remembered for her dedication to environmental protection in the Great Lakes region and her perseverance in the face of adversity. It was a privilege to work with her.

Everyone that worked with Rita were blessed by the energy and passion she displayed.  She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rita was a wonderful colleague who was fun to work with and devoted to the environment. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I remember her as a competent and fun co-worker back in her Superfund days. We shared lots of laughs.  Back then, she asked me for some tips while planning a family trip to Disney World and I was glad to help. She will be missed.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Rita was a valued colleague for nearly 20 years. She was a diligent aide to one Regional Administrator of the USEPA.  During recent years, she set up an external advisory board on behalf of the Great Lakes. Rita was grounded in humane common sense, treating others with respect and empathy. She was devoted to family and had a fun sense of humor.  She was a blessing for all.

Rita was a bright light at work.  Always smiling and so devoted to the mission of EPA.

Rita was such a wonderful coworker. My condolences to Rita's family. Rest in peace Rita.

Rita was a joy to work with; I'll really miss her. God's peace be present in the lives of her family and friends.

I will always remember how smart and funny Rita was, as well as her steadfast devotion to her family (including her dogs) and friends.  I send my heartfelt condolences to Steve, her sons, and her family.  May you find peace.

Great memories of all the parties on Winton Park while we were growing up- and Rita trying to keep us all in line and out of trouble!
