I'm very sorry for your loss.  Mrs. C was a wonderful teacher whose quiet strength spoke volumes.  She left a lasting, positive influence on many she taught at St. Mary's.  May God reward her with comfort and peace.

Please accept my condolences and wishes of comfort for your family.  I am proud to have been a student of Mrs. C at St. Mary; she was a masterful educator and a wonderful model of humanity.  To paraphrase Alexander the Great, I am indebted to my teacher for living well.

I am so saddened to learn of the news about the passing of your Mother. At the same time, I'm grateful to be working at JHS again and connecting with you or I would likely never have known. I'm sending up prayers of peace for your dear Mom in heaven and will continue to pray for you and your family as you navigate through your days following such a loss. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother and nana. I am a former student of hers from St. Mary’s and I had the honor to work with Mrs. C as a peer my first years of teaching at Our Lady of Destiny. To this day I still consider Mrs. C my favorite teacher.  She was such a talented educator while at the same time like a mom to her students. She was so warm and caring. Even when Mrs. C had to get us 7th graders back in line, we would listen and she never held it against us. One of my fondest memories of your mom was during Lent our class met her for 7:00 am Mass (My memory is foggy, but it was at least once a week or more.)  and afterwards we’d head to the school kitchen and make breakfast together. I can see her making the scrambled eggs and directing us around the kitchen. We would chat with her about all kind of things while we cooked and ate. Later on I reconnected with Mrs C when I was hired for my first teaching job at OLD. It was like no time had passed. I loved the talks your mom and I had during lunch about our families and she’d give me advice about things from relationships to cooking.   I had my wedding  reception at a location that she suggested!  One other thing that comes to mind when I think of your mom how classy she always looked.  Mrs. C knew how to put an outfit together, accessories and all. Her hair and makeup were perfect and she would wear heals while teaching! In closing, I know you will all miss her immensely. I hope knowing how she touched so many lives throughout her years of teaching  will bring you comfort and a smile. God bless you and Rest in Peace, Mrs. C.  ❤️🙏
