It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Esther Valdez, who departed this life on August 9, 2024, after a life beautifully lived. Maria was known for her boundless love, infectious laughter, and unwavering resilience. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, leaving a lasting legacy of warmth and kindness.

Maria was predeceased by her devoted husband, Juan J. Valdez. She is survived by her loving children, Jose Valdez (Yuting Deng AKA Tulip), Mariana Castro (John), and Juan Valdez, and her cherished grandchildren, Sophia and Alia Castro. Maria will also be deeply missed by her dear siblings: Rodolfo Vazquez (deceased), Beatrice Vazquez-Martinez (deceased), Salvador Vazquez (deceased), Miguel Vazquez, Jesus Vazquez, Javier Vazquez, and Alfredo Vazquez.
