Larry Edward Rowley

Larry Edward Rowley, of Chicago, passed away on March 31, 2021. Loving husband of Anna Rowley, nee Pietrafesa; Beloved father of Lisa (James) Trabadela and Amy (Matthew) Edquist; Cherished grandfather (“Bampa and Papa”) of Mia, Charlie, and Camden; Dear brother of Michael (Marcia) Rowley and Judith (Tony) Hyatt; Fond uncle of Jason (Gretchen) Hyatt, Melissa (Eric) Jackson, Douglas Rowley, Laura (Brandon) Klonowski, and Matthew (Lesley) Hyatt. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Veronica Rowley. Larry spent his working life serving others and the city of Chicago for over 35 years in the 9th district as a Chicago Police Officer. After retirement, he continued in a different line of service, while working for over 20 years at Lettuce Entertain You, specifically at Scoozi. Larry was loved by and will be missed by many. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, April 6, at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S Pulaski, Chicago. Funeral to begin at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, April 7, at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. John Fisher Church, 10235 S Fairfield, Chicago, for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Private. Please note, Mass at St. John Fisher is limited to 200 guests and are required to sign up while at the Funeral Home for the visitation. If you are not attending the visitation, please call 773-783-7700 to sign up. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests on a rotating basis at services.
