Born in Tarnobrzeg, Poland on August 3, 1953, he was the son of Stefan and Maria-Zofia (Hyjek) Zelasko. He is survived by his daughter Daria Zelasko, and sisters Zofia Blasiak and Barbara Piech. He was predeceased by his wife, Danuta (Lach) Zelasko in March 2020.
A visitation for Kazimierz will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646.
A bilingual funeral mass will take place Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. John Brebeuf, 8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714. A graveside service will follow immediately near 11:30 am at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
