Johny "Lole" Diaz was and always will be our beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, friend, mentor, and so much more. His incredible spirit will forever be present amongst us and the passion he had for life will continue to warm our hearts.
Leaving Caguas, Puerto Rico as a young boy with no knowledge of English and only a 5th grade education, Johny came to Chicago with a hunger for success. From the very beginning he was a fighter and from nothing he built an empire. He lived everyday for his daughters and grandchildren who served as his motivation for hard work and determination. He continued to persevere through all of the obstacles in his life. Johny never gave up hope and remained a fighter till the very end.
His love for Puerto Rico always brought him back home and once again, he will return to rest in his paradise.
