Jose L Santiago

Jose L. (Lencho) Santiago, 81, of Chicago, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Rush Oak Park Hospital. He is survived by his loving children Dora Santiago, America Montiel, Eva Otaño, and Jose Santiago; his grandchildren Alexandria and Michael Montiel, Andrea, Toni, Madeline, and Olivia Santiago, Natali, Emily, Sabrina, and Jocelyn Otaño; and his great-grandchild Azura Montiel; his nephew and nieces Alejandro, Marisol and Karla Santiago; as well as many other nieces and nephews in Guatemala. Jose was preceded in death by his wife Concepcion “Meri” Santiago, his mother Cecilia Santiago, and his siblings Rosa and Hector Santiago, and Guadalupe Palomo.

A final viewing will take place Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60634.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jose will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Parroquia San Jose Sanchez del Rio / San Francis of Assisi, 932 N Kostner, Chicago, IL 60651.

Following the mass will be a Committal Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.
