He is surivived by his common-law- wife Rose Novak, his cherished children, Lorraine Ortiz and Marlene Ortiz his beautiful grandchildren, Mariah J. Crespo, Bryanna M. Crespo, Aaron I. Crespo, Zion A. Rivera, Jailene, Hernandez, Janelle Liu and Jaleah Liu. His fond siblings; Carmen Hernandez, Rosa Gonzalez, Rafael Ortiz, Rosa E. Ortiz, Fernando Ramos, Edwin Ortiz, Luis Angel Ortiz, Lilliana Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Wanda Ortiz, Maria Ortiz and the late Eduardo Ortiz. His loving parents preceded him in death Fernando and Angelina Ortiz. He leaves a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him and a great friend to all.
Visitation: Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 2:00pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Sagrado Corazon, 5218 S. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral Service: Monday, March 7, 2011, 10am chapel Service, procession to Woodlwan Crematory. Interment Private.
