Jose Luis Mendoza,71, of Chicago, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Born in Mexico on Friday August 25, 1944 to Moises and Altagracia (Martinez) Mendoza; beloved husband of Yolanda (née Varela) Mendoza; devoted father of Lupe (Ricardo) Siota, Marcy (Alfredo) Torres, Joe (Adriana) Mendoza, Tony (Lily) Mendoza and Gabriela Mendoza; cherished grandfather of 12; adored great grandfather of 3; loving brother of 6 sisters and 5 brothers; fond uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday July 17, 2016 from 3-9pm with a service at 7:30pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday July 18, 2016. Interment to follow at Acacia Park Cemetery Chicago.
