JoAnn loved her family and friends with all her heart and found great joy keeping in touch with them as often as possible. She was the happiest any time she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and used it to praise God as she sang in the choir at St. Hilary’s Church for 45 years.
JoAnn is survived by her loving children Robert (Cheryl) Kacynski and Carol (Jacques) Krikorian; cherished grandmother to Cari (Tim) Kosiba, Karl (Kerri) Kacynski, Eric (Tyler) Krikorian-Deitz, Brian Kacynski, and Laura Krikorian; special great grandmother to Jacoby, Topanga, Zachary, Annie, Jack and Ryan, beloved sister to Barbara Coleman, fond aunt to James (Cari) Coleman and Kevin (Lisa) Coleman and many loving friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert P. Kacynski, her precious great grandson Thomas, her loving brother-in-law James Coleman and her parents.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for JoAnn that will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024 from 4 – 8 pm at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at 10 am at St. Padre Pio Parish, 5600 North Fairfield Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60659. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
