Joan Mary Banas, age 77, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2018.
Joan is the devoted wife to the late William Banas; loving mother to Lori (Bruce) Truchon, Ronald (Lynn) Banas, and Robert Banas; devoted grandmother to Brian Truchon, Brett Truchon, Nicholas Banas, Christina Banas, and Ava Banas; cherished sister to Raymond (Judy) Justinic; Aunt to James; and friend to many.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3:00-9:00 pm at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home (10727 S. Pulaski Road; Chicago, IL). Prayers will begin at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Christina Catholic Church (3342 W. 111th Street; Chicago, IL). She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
