James D. "Jimmy" Callahan, age 47, passed away unexpectedly December 14, 2018 in Hoopston, Illinois.
Jimmy is the loving son to Gerald and Sharon Callahan; proud father of Anthony Callahan, cherished brother to Gerald (Coleen) Callahan Jr. and Kathleen (Timothy) Eagan; uncle to Shannon Callahan, Erin Callahn, and Samantha Eagan; cherished nephew to Bob and Suzie Valentinas and many other aunts and uncles; fond cousin to many.
Jimmy was a 1989 graduate of Marist High School. He valued and cherished his family and appreciated his blessings. Jimmy was a nature and animal lover.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of his prayer service at 11:00 am at Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home (10727 S. Pulaski Rd; Chicago, IL 60655). Then proceeding DIRECTLY for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
