Eugene R. O'Brien, Age 79, Korean War Veteran, Sgt. U.S.M.C., of Chicago passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Resurrection Medical Center. Born in Hamilton, Ohio on Monday December 18, 1933 to Stanley and Helen (née Deam) O'Brien. Beloved husband of the late Petrina "Mary" (née Calderaro); loving father of Tom O'Brien; dearest grandfather of Tracy and Vickie; devoted brother of the late Jack (Josephine) O'Brien; fond brother-in-law and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:00am Saturday March 16, 2013 at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL 60634. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation Friday March 15, 2013 from 4PM-9PM.
