Loving father of Ashley (CJ Briscoe) Vaughn and Justin Vaughn; Cherished grandpa of Aubree Briscoe and Mikayla Zallis; Dear son of Diane (James) Polacek, nee Kogut; Adored brother of Deirdre (Alan Leach) Vaughn; Nephew of Mitchell Kogut; Longtime partner of Denise Vaughn; Fiancé of Rainelle Smith. Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mitchell and Adeline Kogut; Visitation for Eric will be on Tuesday, September 21, from 3-8 PM, at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S Pulaski, Chicago. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 22, also at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home. Interment Private.
