Albert was born on April 27, 1940 to Joseph F. and Helen M. Schick of Harrison, NJ. He graduated from Harrison High School and went on to earn a double Bachelor’s Degree from Jersey City State College in Fire Science and Geology.
Albert married his high school sweetheart, Margaret (Marge), in 1964, and they had two children, Christine and Joseph.

After retiring, he enjoyed attending outdoor concerts, indulging his creative side in art classes, taking in nature at local Forest Preserves and, especially, talking with and about his grandchildren.
Albert was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Joseph, Jr. He is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Marge; his sisters, Madeline (Jack) Hill and Marylyn (Ray, Sr.) Mobus, and brother, Stan (Barbara Ann) Schick; his two children, Christine (Daniel) Dudlak, and Joseph (Marisa) Schick; his four grandchildren, Jennifer and Alexander Dudlak and Blake and Taylor Schick; and seven nieces and nephews.
