We are sad to announce the passing of John “Dick” Richard Weber (age 76) on 4/21/2023 in Munson, Ohio. John died peacefully at home. He will be eternally treasured in the hearts of his wife of 41 years Mary (nee Yusko); children Cynthia and Dennis; siblings Dorothy, deceased, Joseph, deceased (Marilynn), Raymond (Florence), both deceased, JoAnne (Steven, deceased) Ciuni, and Rosemary, deceased (William) Berkshire; brother-in-law Frank (Gail) Yusko; his late parents Joseph and Anna (nee Kontur); and many nieces and nephews. John was a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of St Ignatius High School (1964) and Cleveland State University (1970). He obtained a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Missouri (1972). After beginning his career as a paperboy on the West Side of Cleveland, he went on to work for Price Waterhouse, Chardon Rubber Company for 30 years and retired in 2008 as the CFO. John was an active parishioner of St Helen’s Church in Newbury, Ohio, where he was involved in the finance committee, the building of the new church, and ran the beloved Bingo nights for more than 20 years. In retirement, John held leadership positions in the Chardon Rotary, the District Rotary Foundation, and the Cleveland Audubon Society. He also enjoyed playing golf, traveling, his monthly card group, eating donuts, and spending time with family and friends. His goofy sense of humor, which he maintained until the end, will be forever cherished. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury, OH 44065. (Please meet at Church) Interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
