Janet Lewis, 88, passed away on Tuesday September 24th 2024. She was a loving mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and grandmother to her family and a good friend. She was a nurse for many years and a school teacher for 30 years. To those who knew her Jan was kind, thoughtful, and a little feisty, too! She was always willing to make time for those she loved. She was a beloved sister to the late Betty Ann Ball and Elaine McAffe and aunt to her late nephews Michael and William R Hill. She is survived by her son, and granddaughters, Kevin and Amanda Weenink and Emily Herman. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Devra Danforth, Elena Jensen, Nora Hill, David Alvarado, Elizabeth Alvarado, and Benjamin Ruiz Sells. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass 10 am, Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland.
