She was born December 12, 1960 in Friona, TX.
Teresa was co-owner with her husband of T&T Mechanical. She was a member of the TFRW; and served on the boards of HCRW and the Iris Fund.
Teresa was a graduate of UMKC where she received her Doctorate Degree in Law.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Ambassadors Sunday School Class. Teresa was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Tony Matthew Wood; parents, Pauline Bryant of Mt. Home, Arkansas and Francis Miles of Ava, Missouri; children, James Thomas of Arkansas, Andria Christian of Missouri, Charity Jarrell of Flintstone, Georgia, Lyndi (Derrick) Bartlett and Jeri (Jon) Hoffman of Springfield, Missouri; siblings, LeJean “Shorty” (William) Rogers of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; and Wade (Michelle) Miles of Ava, Missouri; a special friend, Kathy (James) Holloway of Hixson, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Dr. Jimmy DuPree officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
