She was born March 11, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Clyde “J.L.” and Wilma Faye Walker, whom she described as, “the best in the world, EVER!”
Teresa attended Emmaus Baptist Church in Dalton, GA.
She was a graduate of Dalton Vocational School of Health and Occupation. She was employed as a LPN with Hamilton Medical Center.
Teresa loved camping, hiking, riding motorcycles, and especially enjoyed biking at the Chickamauga Battlefield with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Williams, brother, Mickey Ray Walker and grandparents, Tom & Margaret Walker, and Judd & Elma Browning.
She describes her surviving family as follows: “My one and only” son and daughter-in-law, Clint Walker and Alysia Williams of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, “All three are my heartbeat!” Axel Williams, Serenity Williams, and Cayden Williams; “My wonderful brothers and sister”, brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis “Dink” and Iva Walker of Harrison, TN and Gary “Petey” Walker, of Tunnel Hill, GA, and sister and brother-in-law, Sheila “Dottie” and Donald Caylor of Harrison, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM 6:00 PM and Monday, November 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Hwy., Chattanooga, TN 37421.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jason Ollis officiating.
Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery with Clint Williams, Keith Walker, David Walker, Brandon Walker, Axel Williams, Tara Caylor, and Michelle Burnam serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cayden and Serenity Williams.
