Roy R. Parrott, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022.
Mr. Parrott was born and raised in Graysville, TN. He retired after 36 years as a Master Mechanic from Sears Auto Center, was an Air Force veteran and retired after 30 years from the Tennessee National Guard serving one tour in Desert Storm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maude Parrott; and brothers, Gene and George Parrott.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Patricia Parrott; daughters, Kathy Crawley, Ginger (Grady) Reel and Melissa Taylor; son. Brian Tipton; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. DeWayne Finley officiating.
