Robert Orin Hale

Robert was an avid bowler participating in several leagues with Holiday Bowl at both the Brainerd and Hixson locations. He competed in softball and various other sports over the years. He also taught roller skating throughout his youth. He was a former salesman for Bates floor covering.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jo Hale; son, John Robert (April) Hale of Ooltewah; daughter, Mary Hale (Brian) Newell of Knoxville; siblings, Sam (Carol) Hale of Hixson, Retha (Dennis) Giles of Suck Creek, Duel Hale of Cleveland, and Lavera Campbell of Chattanooga; two granddaughters, Katie Hale and Lauren Newell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Valley View Chapel. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
