Patsy owned and operated Cheerific Beauty Salon for over 35 years, where she loved and enjoyed her customers, who became part of her extended family. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Signal Mountain. Patsy loved her granddaughter and dog Che Che more than words could say.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Pledger and Effie Blanche Maples, and Brother Brian Maples.
Patsy is survived by her husband Steve Sluder; daughter Andee (Adam) Bock; granddaughter Carson Bock; sister Kathryn (Pete) Burns; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and amazing friends.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of Tennessee Oncology as well as Hospice of Chattanooga, for their wonderful love and care.
Visitation with the family will be from 4-6 pm, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Signal Mountain, Thursday August 1, followed by a celebration of life for Patsy with Pastor Rocky Bradford and Rev Von Dunn officiating.
