She was a resident of Newport for 20 years where she owned her own real estate business, Myrtle Barnhart Realty for 10 years. Myrtle loved to bake, especially Christmas candy and fudge.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie May Gladden; father, John Loyd Hearon; son, Gary West; grandson, Jamie West; and brother, Bob Hearon.
Survivors include son, Craig (Robyn) Marentette; daughter, Michelle (Joseph) Roach; brother, Bill Hearon; sisters, Johnie Huskey, Jean King, and Katie Ingersol; and granddaughters, Caitlyn Marentette, Zoe Marentette, Emily Roach, and Renee Norwood.
