Michael Thompson

Michael (Mike) Lee Thompson, 70, of Dayton, TN was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1952 to the late George Ralph Thompson and Willette Spees. Mike was married to his wife, Angela Thompson, for 30 blessed years. He served in the United States Army specializing in Intelligence. He was a long time member of the IBEW Local 175 and spent many of those years working for TVA as a supervisor. Mike loved music, playing his guitar, fishing, camping, being on the water (especially the beach), his wife's home cooking, and spending quality time with the ones he loved most. He had a very strong will to live and loved his wife and family more than anything in the world.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Ralph Thompson; mother, Willette Spees; father-in-law, Bob Dixon; siblings, Judith Davenport, Jeanette Wright, Donald (Sandra)Thompson, and David (Tony) Dixon.

He leaves all his precious memories to his loving wife, Angela Thompson and their children; Missy Thompson, Sonya (Joe) Seiber, Kenvia (Damon) Sandifer, Melanie (Jason) Vickrey, Craig (Jessica) McFalls, Brian (Amy) McFalls; mother-in-law, Joyce Dixon; siblings, John (Pat) Thompson, Wayne (Chris) Thompson, Sylvia Hassler, Nancy (Roger) Baker, Richard Dixon; grandchildren, Micah Cromwell, Madison Scarbrough, Landon Sandifer, Korbin and Kaylyn Vickrey, Chandler and Chase McFalls, Hannah and Chloe Bailey, Ryan, Brooklyn and Kenslie McFalls as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm EST at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, followed by a funeral service from 5:00pm to 6:00pm EST.
