She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lizzie Housley and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Smith and two brothers, Crawford and Hayden Housley.
Survivors include her sister, Ailene (Bill) Ball, of Meigs, Co., TN, three brothers, Felix (Evelyn) Housley, of Pikeville, TN, W. T. (Jean) Housley, of Apison, TN, L. D. (Brenda) Housley, of Hamilton Co., TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Chancey and Dr. Dwight Kilbourne officiating. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery in Apison, TN.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
