Jonathan Daniel Jones

He was born March 23, 1977 to Jimmy Dan Jones and Brenda Gale Haney and spent most of his life in the Chattanooga area.

Jon loved and adored his wife, friends, family and his country more than life itself. Jon had an amazing sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He would brighten up any room he walked into. He was fun-loving, good-hearted and lived life to the fullest. Jon was always smiling and happy.

He was an accomplished musician, a gifted guitarist, and was associated with several area bands during his career.

For many years, he adored his fur babies Domino, Penny, Hayden, and Haley.

Jon loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and four-wheeling.

Jon is survived by his precious loving wife Kelly, devoted mother Brenda Haney, two daughters Amanda (Charles) and Casey (Kurt), four grandsons Anthony, Lochlan, Mason, and Charlie, along with numerous family members and friends who adored him.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Jones and grandparents Dolores & his “Gramps” Harold Haney.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 6, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Broom officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
