Hilda Morgan, 87, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012. A native of Iva, SC, she has been a resident of the Ooltewah area for the past 19 years and was a member of Ooltewah Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ralph Alton Morgan. Survivors include five daughters, Judy Thompson and husband Emory, Houston, TX, Sharon Wood and husband Earl, Cleveland, TN, Colleen Lindsey and husband Rev. Jimmy Lindsey, Soddy-Daisy, TN, Cindy Gore and husband Ricky, Lexington, TN and Tammy Hardin and husband Mark, Chattanooga, TN; eleven grandchildren, Emory Dale Thompson, Christi Thompson, Gary Wood, Melissa Goff, Dana Wood, Monica Check, Emily Baughn, Melanie Roberts, Brian Lindsey, Drew Hardin and Kelly Hardin; seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lindsey officiating. There will be a private family entombment at Hamilton Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. today before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
